Set directly on Magazine Beach, Aquarium combines the atmosphere of a relaxed Caribbean beach restaurant with a more polished evening dining experience. The open-air setting faces the Caribbean Sea towards St. George’s and the surrounding hills, making it equally appealing for a leisurely lunch, sunset cocktails or dinner by the water.
The kitchen describes its style as international cuisine with Caribbean fusion, using fresh local ingredients and seafood alongside steaks, vegetarian dishes and island-inspired flavours. Current menu highlights include callaloo cannelloni, sesame-seared tuna, mussels in white wine and garlic, seafood salads, Angus beef and Grenadian-inspired soups and sauces.
Sunday is Aquarium’s signature day. The traditional Sunday BBQ begins from late morning and is paired with live local music in the afternoon, giving guests a more social, celebratory way to experience the restaurant. For a quieter occasion, La Sirena Beach Bar and the rooftop area offer alternatives for cocktails, sundowners and intimate gatherings.

Sunday is the liveliest day
The Sunday BBQ is one of Aquarium’s signature experiences and can become busy. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
Current opening pattern
Aquarium currently states that it opens Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 11 PM, with lunch from noon to 4 PM and dinner from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Special occasions
The restaurant can accommodate birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and private events, with the rooftop and other areas available for selected occasions.
Transfers can be added
La Velique can arrange a private vehicle so your evening is fully coordinated from pickup to return.
